We spent a couple more days in hotels than planned due to rain that kept us from traveling further south for a couple of days due to a flooded arroyo. But that gave us more time in Estero Beach and El Rosario getting to know the area. We saw some of the best sunrises ever while camped on the beach on the Bahia de Los Angeles on the Sea of Cortez and such lovely rocks and sunrise and sunset light on them in Joshua Tree.

Occasions were an Infopeople staff meeting at Joan's home in Sacramento, sitting on the front porch watching (along with a squirrel) Sally string lights on our maple and apple trees, back to Sacramento to have Christmas with the McCulloughs, and over to Bob, Francisca, and Frederic's for day after cheese and desserts. The hip seems to be healing well. I'm rather impatiently awaiting my x-ray and surgeon visit on January 5.
